Who are Sigmas?
Founded on January 9, 1914 at Howard University as Phi Beta Sigma. It was built on the principles of brotherhood scholarship and service. Our founders A. Langston Taylor, Leonard F Morse and Charles I. Brown-envisioned an organization that would go beyond the traditional fraternity model by directly engaging and serving the broader community
Phi Beta Sigma is commited to fostering leadership, promoting academic excellence, and addressing the social challenges impacting our communities. Through our national programs--such as Bigger and Better Business, Education and Social Action--we strive to create meaningful, lasting change while empowering our members to grow personally and professionally
